Whatcom Water Weeks

Whatcom Water Week Sept 9th-17th, 2023 Honoring the fact that water is essential to life and vital to our cultural well-being, join the Whatcom Watersheds Information Network (WWIN) in celebrating “Whatcom Water Week” from Saturday, Sept. 9th through Sunday, Sept. 17th. A series of fun, free, family-friendly events throughout Whatcom County offer residents a chance to celebrate the importance of water. There will be many events to choose from, including some which require pre-registration. Events include: • Run with the Chums 5K • Family Field Day at Birch Bay State Park • Bellingham Water Treatment Tours • Bellingham Public Library story times • NSEA Salmon Spotting opportunities • Bellingham Bay Paddle and Scavenger Hunt Visit WhatcomWaterWeeks.org for a full list of events.
